2025 Electric Youth Leadership Camp
Reasons to attend the camp:
- Meet new friends
- Fun activities: ride the gondola to the top of Mt. Werner, shopping, river rafting and swimming to name a few.
- Tour the Craig Power Plant, Trapper Coal Mine and a solar farm.
- Learn about electric cooperatives and legislative processes. Form a cooperative.
Applications are being accepted for the 2025 camp, July 12th through the 17th.
Applications due: January 31, 2025!
Encourage your high school Sophomores and Juniors to apply for this opportunity to spend a week in beautiful Clark, Colorado. Camp expenses are paid by Wheatland REA (except personal "shopping" money)! The applicant's parent or guardian must be a member of Wheatland REA to qualify.
Students must attend the Leadership Camp to be eligible for the Youth Leadership Tour to Washington DC the following summer.
