Annual Meeting

 

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR 2009 ANNUAL MEETING...

451 member-owners registered and 604 members, employees and spouses attended the health fair, setting a new annual meeting attendance record.

 

The Annual Meeting registration line extended far out into the parking lot.

 

Platte County Memorial Hospital personnel did a magnificent job getting everyone through the health fair quickly.

Gene Schuldies (L) and Robert Brockman (R) were re-elected to 3 year terms to represent district #2.

 

 

250 members and guests stayed for the business meeting after lunch. REA linemen handed out door prizes to winning REA members still present at the end of the meeting. At left, Apprentice Lineman Michael Johnson gives a Pest a Cator to an REA member.

 

 

Slater Women's Club did an excellent job of preparing and serving lunch to 250 members, guests and employees.

 

 

Kaylee Beauprez and Brianna McFadden spoke to the membership about their experiences at last year's "Electric Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp" in Clark, Colorado.

 

 

 

Last, but certainly not least! 7th Graders from Mrs. Harnish's science class came up from Chugwater School to show off the electric science projects they completed with the help of the "Get Charged" curriculum donated by the REA to area schools.
