Capital Credits

One advantage of being a member of a nonprofit electric cooperative is Capital Credits, which is how the cooperative allocates its margins annually to its members. To the extent Wheatland REA is financially capable, the cooperative retires (returns) the Capital Credits to you. When we are unable to deliver a Capital Credit refund check or a Capital Credit allocation notice the consumers name is added to an “undeliverable” list. If you recognize a name on the list, please complete our Capital Credit Research Request form below.
